WHAT IS THE SAINT GREGORY’S FUND AND WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED GO?
The mission of the Fund is to help the school provide a transformative educational experience for our students while limiting our reliance on tuition. Gifts to the Saint Gregory’s Fund are used in the current school year operating budget and provide a direct investment in:
Curriculum – We believe students come to school with a great deal of prior knowledge and curiosity. They learn best when teachers build on this curiosity by helping them pose real questions about the world around them and subsequently helping them conduct in-depth investigations to answer those questions. Your gift goes to fund new and innovative curriculum needs in all our classrooms.
Technology-Technology is integrated into every aspect of the curriculum and is a critical component of our hands-on, project approach to learning. Gifts to the Saint Gregory’s Fund support current technology needs that provide students with the tools to become problems solvers in our global society.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE TO THE SAINT GREGORY’S FUND?
Whether you give because you want to support the needs of the school, or simply to support a school you have come to love, we ask that members of our community give to the best of their ability. Gifts of all sizes will be gratefully received, well-utilized and acknowledged in the Annual Report unless the donor makes a specific request to remain anonymous. Gifts, are recognized as part of the following giving clubs:
THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT SAINT GREGORY’S SCHOOL THROUGH PARENT ASSOCIATION, ETC. IF I SUPPORT THOSE EFFORTS, DO I NEED TO GIVE TO THE SAINT GREGORY’S FUND AS WELL?
As Saint Gregory’s School, as in typical independent schools, there are many opportunities to be involved and participate in supporting the school. We ask each family, to the extent they are financially able, support the Saint Gregory’s Fund every year. The Board of Trustees has deemed the Saint Gregory’s Fund as the pre-eminent priority of the school.
