This winter break, we want to look back at some of the events that have already taken place at Saint Gregory’s School in the first half of the 2022-23 school year. We are so proud to show off the memories we have made with our students and their families on our Loudonville campus.
The very beginning of our school year is a great day to celebrate the start of a new school year and connect with family members. Thank you to all the families who made the time to stop by on the first day and take some photos.
See all first day photos here.
Our students and staff make every day special at our school and Spirit Night is an opportunity to celebrate that. This year, we had a great time and even had a rock wall!
The beginning of the year also means the beginning of sports!
Our modified soccer team had an undefeated season that our parents and spectators had a great time cheering for. The faculty and staff lost to the 8th graders in our annual Knights vs. Dragons basketball game. All five of our basketball teams are competing well and having fun.
Our students always deliver at the Halloween parade. Our staff can’t wait to see what our students come up with from year to year for their costumes.
The Mother- Child Dinner is another opportunity for us to welcome family and friends into our school and spend quality time. Thank you to all who made this evening special this year.
The Saint Gregory’s Community is always happy to be a part of giving back to the community in any way we can. This year, we donated to Albany’s St. John’s/ St. Anne’s Outreach Center for Thanksgiving. Our students and staff are looking forward to more opportunities to give back as our school year continues.
Our new science room will be a tremendous asset to our students’ learning experience. Read more about the Uccelini Family Science Center in our blogs.
One of our favorite traditions at Saint Gregory’s is the Christmas concert. Our students always put on a great performance and this year was no exception.
Another SGS tradition this time of year is to sled on campus. We had some snow before our winter break and our students were prepared accordingly.
Father Doyle was a part of our Saint Gregory’s family. We will miss him dearly and always remember the smiles he brought us.
