Saint Gregory’s School is thrilled to announce the opening of the Raymond Family Tech Lab, a cutting-edge addition to our campus that promises to revolutionize the educational experience for our students. Inspired by the generous donation from the Raymond family, this modernized technology facility is a testament to our community’s unwavering commitment to advancing education and empowering our educators.

For SGS alumnus Michael Raymond and his family, the decision to contribute to the creation of this new technology room was immediate and resolute. Their vision, along with that of Head of School Katie Helm and President Andy Anderson, was clear from the outset: to provide unparalleled support to our educators and equip them with the tools they need to nurture the unique learning journey of each child.

At the heart of Saint Gregory’s legacy lies a deep appreciation for remarkable educators and a loyal community. Drawing from his own family’s rich history in education, Mr. Raymond emphasized the pivotal role teachers play in shaping young minds. “Coming from a family deeply rooted in education and teaching, I’ve learned from a young age that each child is unique in their learning journey. Teachers are the driving force in that journey.”

The Raymond Family Tech Lab is envisioned as a dynamic space where learning transcends boundaries and embraces innovation. “Our vision for this technology room is to create a space where the learning process does not have to fit into a box, where children can explore and absorb knowledge in different and innovative ways and just add another asset to what makes the St. Gregory’s standard that much higher than the rest,” Mr. Raymond explains. Students will now have the freedom to explore and absorb knowledge in diverse ways, as the room has undergone a comprehensive transformation right down to the studs, now boasting new drop-down ceilings, lighting fixtures, carpet, sheetrock, paint, furniture, and a new touch screen TV.
